Photos NOT OK to edit
My sister-in-law and I went on a day hike up one of the local canyons which has a stream running down it and a waterfall at the top. These were taken early in the morning and it was quite chilly so that was the look I was going for when post processing. All PP except the borders was done in Lightroom. Let me know what you think!:) Sorry there are so many, I had trouble deciding which ones to post...

Overall I love the effect. If it is not HDR it sure has that feel. But one thing....the tone is so brown in all of them it seems kind of somber. Is it a good thing or bad thing? I am not quite sure. But thats really a minor quip.

Thanks Brian! The effect is kind of a Dragan effect(except for the last one) and since it was cold and wet when I took these, that was the mood I was going for. Thanks for commenting.

wow, awesome shots i really like how the water just looks so full of motion and yet at the same time stopped in mid movement. the composition of the last one blows me away

they're all very nice

love the last one. sort of half sepia half BnW

how long were your shutter times?

Thanks for commenting lordson! Shutters ranged from 2-4 seconds depending on the light in each shot. Most where taken at 2 though. Aperture was f22 and iso was 100. I was also using an 8x ND filter.

Very nice, #9 is my favourite.

Thanks Renair.:) #9 was the waterfall at the top of the canyon. I was suprised at how long it took us to get up there, since I'm an avid hiker, but then I remembered that we had been stopping along the way...

Good stuff. Very nice. Though I agree the tone is the same throughout, that does NOT mean I dislike any of them. I think they are all equally awesome, makes me wanna go shoot some waterfalls here.

I like all of them, if I had to choose any, last one is my favourite. For me the color and tones of the pictures are ok, they show me how wet and cold it was very accurately.
Good work!
