Would you say that this one is a genuine photo?
I am wondering.
I did not take it, someone who I don't know took it, and it won the April-"Photo of the Month"-contest of our local newspaper. Ever since this one entered the contest I have wondered whether this might be authentic or a photomontage. What do you think?

There's so much jpg artifacting it's hard to tell, but it looks fake to me. The lighting doesn't look to be the same on the mole and the ground.

I did the same thing as bp22hot. I would be very surprised to find this was authentic. The biggest problem is that there doesn't appear to be a hole in the ground where the mole is sticking out. The mole just fades into the background.

Did anybody else notice the paws? they are completely clean, even the nails, no dirt in them, its a fake

I was thinking that you could take a dead mole out of a trap, and then just plant it and take the pic.
