Macro theme this week on flickr is 'in a bottle' so went with 40 green straws cut to length, stuffed into a clear soda bottle, side lit, and then shot looking down with my tokina 100mm macro lens.

Ha ha- I actually couldn't locate the box for this topic!!

I strained my brain for 'things in a bottle' and all I could come up with was a boring list (fluids, powders, a model ship, a tequilla worm, ....), so I just struck out to fill a bottle with something that I found photographically interesting. It does kinda have a honeycomb vibe.

Very nice. I have been sitting at home this weekend looking to shoot some macro but I have a hard time finding something to shoot. I wish I had more creativity to think of things like that.

Online communities are so good for that! The TPF challenges, among others, always jogs me to see things in new ways. Having seen a lot of your work- you apparently only rarely have creative droughts, as you do wonderful work!
