What Resolution Would You Use?

Just curious what resolution, of the below, would you use? For the most part I only print out 4x6 however, ocassionally I like to print larger. What would you recommend shooting for this casual, self hobby type of application? I can't find a place that has MB equivilants, but this is as good as it gets. I currently shoot High Quality (HQ) 2288x1520. This takes a nice quality 1MB picture.

3,200 x 2,400 SHQ, HQ (Optimum Enlargement Mode)
2288 x 1712 TIFF SHQ, JPEG
2288 x 1520 (3:2 MODE) TIFF, HQ, JPEG
2048 x 1536 SQ1 High JPEG
1600 x 1200 SQ1, Medium JPEG
1280 x 960 SQ1, Normal JPEG
1024 x 768 SQ2, High JPEG
640 x 480 SQ2, Normal JPEG

So do I, in RAW mode. I would pick TIFF over JPG, since JPG is lossy and you will lose data everytime you do a save.

Is that top resolution interporlated? Some cameras do that, unfortunately. If so, you are better off using the largest actual capture size and leave any resizing to the software. At that resolution, I kinda doubt that it's interpolated. Cheaper cameras used to do that so that they could say that the camer was 640x480 when it really only captured at 320x240.
