What should my next lens be as a beginner for a canon 650d user?

Hi

I have had my camera for 4 months now and I want to purchase a new lens.

I have got the standard lens kit that come with the purchase of the camera but I want something better that captures shot of landscape. This would be ideal as I am currently working in Hong Kong and love taking photos of the harbour particularly at night.
