What to shoot

Anyone else like shooting landscapes but live in a not so good area? I mean... Hell, I can only shoot the same things over and over so many times.
I guess I could load up and move to the PNW.

You live in an area with beauty and opportunities that others envy. The problem is that photographers many times get bored with the surroundings after shooting. It becomes harder to catch the points of interest for the next shot. You end up not being able "to see the forest for the trees". Thats when you have to slow down and think harder about your creativity. Look at alternatives like panoramas as mentioned above, or zoom/blur, and ICM. Look at processing alternatives like infrared, cross processing, posterization or others. Finally, learn to simplify so that the little jewels you seek aren't hidden by the trees. Keep your mind clear and your eyes sharp lest you fall down the rabbit hole.

I have seen some great locations from you. ARKANSAS has some gorgeous waterfalls an creeks, as good as many here in the PNW.
