What went wrong, please help?

I am waiting to buy a dslr, but right now I have my HP Photosmart point and shoot.

Every single photo I take comes out with a reddish/lighter area in the center. EVERY ONE! I tried cleaning the lens and everything, this problem seems to get worse as time goes on.

These photos were taken to test this problem, so they aren't meant to be spectacular.,


Any ideas what is going on?

Is it an older camera? Maybe it's just worn out or had some sort of malfunction.

Its probably 3.5 years old I guess, it was my birthday gift a few years back.
