If money was no object and your were mainly into sports photography, hockey, basketball and wrestling.

Which body would you get and what lenses?

Canon 1D mk III (10 fps)

The lenses would depend on the sport being covered, the position from which I could shoot etc. Some might be...
16-35 F2.8 L
24-70 F2.8 L
70-200 F2.8 L IS
135 F2.0 L
200 F1.8 L
300 F2.8 L IS
400 F2.8 L IS
600 F4 L IS
Sigma 300-800 F5.6 (Sig-monster)

what Mike says x2 (x3 for the bodies) (you need backups) ;)

Also flashes would be required.

I want the twin to Big Mike's kit

Hey Mike while I do agree with your post I think it would have been alot easier to just say "all of them".

There is no Nikon for sports only white lens can shoot sports j/k

2x D3's
2x D300's

2x all

12-24DX
17-55 f/2.8DX
10.5mmDX
14-24
16 fisheye
24-70
50mm f/1.4
70-200 VR
200 f/2
300 f/2.8
200-400 f/4
400/500/600VR's
and a few 1.4 TC's

Oh yeah, and about 20 SB-800's w/ pocket wizards when I want to nuke the whole football field. And if the SU-800 will work at those distances, than that would be BETTER because i'd be able to control what the strobes are doing right from my camera!

That would be a balls-to-the-wall set up
