Which is best?

I dont know if this is in the right place, but I just whant to know which photo you all think is best (i havent edited them yet). Also I scanned them as low resolution just to get an idea of what they look like so the colour (tone) may be poor (probs will be).

Depends on what you're going for. There are 3 or 4 I like a lot, but for completely different reasons.

I agree with the previous poster. I too find several I like for different reasons. I think that you captured the DOF nicely in several shots. I had a similar photo for critique entitled The Blues in which I was trying to get several things in the pic with a vanishing shot of the keys. Still working on getting the DOF right on that.

I think that you have done a good job on many of these posts, though it's hard to critique when there are this many pics of different angles. Maybe try picking the one you think is closest to what you wanted to capture and re-submit it to critique alone.

5 totally put it in the bag for me! what a shot!! I'm partial to classical piano and big band jazz piano (pre-rock era, like the late 50's and the 60's). Dino and Sinatra are great...

anyway, music is awesome but, ur pic... oh yeah... ur pic:

the dof is awesome, contrast, levels and everything is beautiful!!! great job.

I voted for 5. Really like several of them, but 5 is my favorite. I love piano shots like this.

:roll: While I was typing this I just realized that I have 3 pianos at work that I could try this shot on. Never occurred to me. Duh!

I like them all but 2 and 4 are great. I like #4 mainly because it makes you see the maker of the piano and since I'm a musician I know the value of that maker... If you would be able to take a picture where the name was seen (even if it was out of focus) with the same focus as e.g #5 or #2 it would be just complete IMO.
