The first one is definite "wall-hanger". The second one - nice snapshot of a bunch of Pelicans and seagulls, but it does nothing for me.

Wonderful shots! Love the silhouette. I probably wouldn't have centered it but overall love this shot.

Love the first one. I agree though on the centering. I may have shot that one probably with the bird and sun slightly to the left of the frame. A great photo no less though.
