OK. I must admit that I was skeptical when my kids asked me to go to the wiener dog races that were held today at the Phoenix Greyhound Park (as a benefit for Greyhound Adoption). I was laughing so hard by the time I left that it was tough to keep the camera steady. There were more dachshunds there than I had ever seen in my life -- some running and some in the audience. Some of the racers were serious runners, some had trouble deciding which way to run. In any event, it was lots of fun.

And it shows!!! Each and every one of your photos says so! Fun-fun-fun . To be calling them "Wiener dogs" even . No 8 (in Photo 2) is a fat "Wiener" . Dog No 6 (in Photo 7) seems to be one of the serious runners!
Nice to see how small they really are in Photo 5 .
