They're far from wild though 
.... lolol
They live in Custer State Park, down in the wildlife loop area.... They cull the herd annually to keep them between 12 to 15.
They're famous and they're called the "Beggin' Burros"... People driving the wildlife loop feed them apples, carrots, etc....they even sell T-shirts at the gift centers with these "Beggin' Burros" on them. (Along with t-shirts that say "Don't Pet the Fluffy Cows!"

When we're here the whole month of July, the jennys are dropping foals... And they are stinking cute
