Nice shots!
Thanks guys!Very nice shots.....
I have a nifty little plug-in that I often forget is there, that lets me send the image to an exif viewr. Manual, 1/1250, 5.6, ISO 160 @ 329mm. Kirk used his Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD.Two cracking shots. Don't know what the focal length is but you seem to get the DOF spot on each time.
Thank you, John. I appreciate that. All I basically do is when I frame up a subject I usually allow for some room in front and behind because I like the effect of going from blurred at the bottom to sharp at the subject and fading back to blurred in the bg. I shoot wide open as much as possible to achieve that, too. Like @jeffashman pointed out, f/5.6. That setting doesn't provide as sharp an image as say an f/8 aper. would but I know I can always tweak the sharpness in editing, but I don't use the unsharp tool. I find it's not necessary if the pic was sharp enough right from the camera and besides, it usually creates artifacts to some degree. Two cracking shots. Is that a free plug-in, Jeff? If so, where can I get one? I usually just download a pic and view the exif that way but there isn't always exif to see. This may sound stupid (is as stupid does) but will that show exif data somehow even if the OP didn't include it? It is a plug-in from the Chrome store, and is free. I use Edge, which is Chromium based, so it works. It only provide the information that is contained in the image, so if the exif data is stripped, there is no information.Thank you, John. I appreciate that.
