Windmill at sunset

Shot with my pentax k-7 and 18-55 @ F/11 for 1/50 at the Pawnee National grasslands in North central CO. Im quite inexperienced (4 weeks) and would appreciate some feedback on my composition/exposure. Thanks guys.

I like the sky and the scene, but it almost feels like the windmill was an accident because it's so small in the frame. I think you should have gotten closer or used a longer lens. Assuming you want to keep the sky, you'll need to get closer to the windmill.
 
I would cut down all the trees that are hiding the windmill.....;)

My thoughts exactly. The windmill was a nice find though.
