Winter food is scarce

In the UK it's winter and cold / wet with not a lot of food for our native Birds

Here I captured a Goldfinch feeding and a Bullrush head

Wonderful capture! Our cattails (bullrushes) have been stripped clean by now. What the birds haven't gotten, the wind blew away.
