i enjoy your mention of feelings of aversion and attraction at the same time.
actually my association to this one is a topographic map.
anyway, this is how i love to see things: microcosm and macrocosm, inside and outside, meeting together.
At first glance your original offering looked like an industrial scene. Then, I got this feeling that I was looking at a non stick surface and the remains of a lamb chop. Or a melting cuttlefish on a Tefal pan. I'm still uncertain, but I probabally spent more time looking at it then most other photos.
Your second was interesting to me because the green shadow to the right looked like the shadow of a person, which then changed the whole perspective of the photo, but then my eye re-adjusted and told my brain, "On second thought, it's just the light shining through the bottle."
My brain was dubious at first, but gradually came around. By then my eye had changed it's mind.
