I think this is my first post to this area of the forum :mrgreen:

it was taken at a local garden

C and C welcome, I normally take pictures of cats, so I found it hard to capture the beauty of what I saw in front of me.

I like how dark the branch in the foreground is and how light the rest of the picture is, although I think this is probably not a technically correct picture

I like it, especially the texture in the leaves at the top/foreground.

It's inspiring me to try B&W on some shots I took at the creek the other day!
Actually Judge is right. This would be good for the Light and Shadow challenge. :beer:

That works very nicely, good contrast, nice leaf detail, interesting compositional split between horizontal overhanging branch, verticals of distant trees and horizontals of path and shadows on grass.
