I agree the hot drill blade reall grabs my attention but those flying sparks are what really make it for me.

I believe it is a grinder, not a drill.

Be careful with those, if the stone wheel breaks & fragments (especially if it is not intended for cutting) there is an unbelievable amount of energy in the pieces.

Professionally, I'm an engineer at UL, working in the power tool group. Grinders are the most dangerous tools we evaluate. With saws, people are aware of the dangers. With grinders, people take them for granted, and misuse the hell out of them.

we try to be as safe as possible with glasses and gloves and what not but i guess not this time, but thanks for the warnings!

I hope you took this one with the safety goggles on ... the parts fly everywhere and seem to love to take aim at the person's eye who is using the grinder! (See Photo_7_in_this_thread).
