Worlds biggest annual firework

Ok so now i have been to the PL, 120 000 shells and a great view taken 4km from the shotting, the tower you can see in the pictures are allmost as high as the eifel tower. my only wish was that i had the skills to take the shots well (^_^)

at the last finally everyone was waiting for every camera man started packing their things, didn`t understand why at first but after seeing it, i can understand, i dont think you can come closer to a fake nucklear bomb than that, the 4 pictures shows the beginning to the end.

The second and third one is awesome! realy clear! what exposure did you use?

Hmm as i am a newbie i'm quite unsure what is what but for what i know i had these settings, f/8, ISO 200, i also used a tripod and a remote control, the camera is a pentax ist ds

I'm not a huge fan of fireworks shots in general, but I do like #2 and 7....rest seem a bit washed out to me.

I'm thinking the same thing as you, i'm just a newbie yet so i didn't really expect any good results, but it turned out much better than i expected.
