Worth braving the cold early this morning

It says a lot for the Sigma 70-200 f2.8DG as you can see the wires supporting the flagpole on Ely Cathedral at about 2.5 miles as well as the weather cock on the steeple
Handheld at 200mm and 1/200th in the freezing cold early this morning from my garden.​

Just viewed it on the forum - i assure you they both show in a 10x8 print - but that is at 300+dpi

The air must have been very clean and very pure on that morning! Wow!
The view that you get from your garden never ceases to amaze me.
 
That first one is so pretty...love the colour of the sky, those wispy clouds, and of course the silhouettes of the trees and cathedral. What a beautiful view to see appearing out of the dark
