G'day all

Australia's capital city, Canberra, surrounds the man-made Lake Burley Griffin, named after the American town planner and designer Walter Burley Griffin. His designs back 100+ yrs ago brought him and his wife to Australia and his foresight and city design visualisation is a wonder to perceive and enjoy

Each weekend, especially during the summer months, the keen yachties are out and about, duelling one another in order to win whatever race is in progress

1)- a group with Black Mountain communications tower in the background

2)- around the marker buoy and off across the wind ... these two were vying for the lead

exif- Panny FZ-300; 1/1000s x F4,0; ISO-100; lens at 20x zoom - 500mm FFequiv

3)- another duel in another race - these two were having a great tussle trying to put a wind shadow over the other boat

As always, feedback welcome
