Yet another computer dead

In less than 16 months I have burned up three computers.

On that was purchased in 2011 and went through hell and high water...

The second a HP Specter 360 that apparently the motherboards are garbage..
Then a Dell G3 that decided to go into continuous boot.

so no more photo editing or posting for a long time...
(Much to the glee of many I suppose)...


I am growing so tired of putting out so much money for systems that keep crashing.

Why cant they be like the old Mac Books of the early 2000?

Wow! You have had no luck at all. Have you considered a desktop instead or do you need to be portable?

Thought about a desktop, but no where to put it..

My white iBook from 2001 is still working...so is my PowerBook G-3 300 from the 1990s...mostly used for portable DVD players...

Build your own using quality components. It's not hard.

So, after conferring with someone who's IQ is several steps above mine... (a worm is smarter than me but c'est la vie), I wound up going back to the boot screen and backdooring a complete wipe and reload of the OS.

The computer is running fine for now. But I was told that the G3 sometimes has this issue.

Luckily everything was backed up.
