I kind of think the table looks like it should be there. I feel it would seem to plain with out it. Either way its a great shot. The only thing that would make this look wrong is if the model wasnt there lol.

I think it would be better if the table was off to the left just entering the image and not behind the colorful shoe

First, the table is distracting primarily b/c of the swirly thing mid-way up the legs. If that wasn't there, I could tolerate it.

Second, photo (and model) are lovely--thanks for sharing them.

Third, for a washed out effect, I'd selectively highlight the blinds and wash them out (so they're just big gaps of light rather than the ability to distinguish blinds). That will give it more of a washed out look.

The shoes seem somewhat visually 'lost' in the table, too many lines and shapes and colors all in one place. For me it's a little too processed because she seems a little less than real.

I think the pose is rather awkward; the idea could probably work but I found myself thinking did she drop something or what is this woman doing?? I think looking again, it might be the way the head is down with the face in shadow that makes it seem awkward to me.

Your portraits are usually beautifully done, this one looks nice and sharp with good color and her hair is arranged and flows nicely.

I always admire your talent and the ladies of course but IMO the Center blown out window blind is to much and its actually the first thing my eyes focused on. It also seems to be causing a halo like around her butt and over to her lower back.I don't think the table is distracting at all. Besides my nit picking I still like it and wish I could be in your shoes but I would probably die from lust.

I like washed out,semi blown feel it's not that... it's about her skin.

I like to keep details on the skin, the skin here is too smooth, without any details.
