I'm in love with this!
wish it was framed wider as to see more of the ears up top and the edge of the hoof, instead of it being cut off.
but I really like the contrast and
love the way that the snout (is that the correct terminology?), the eye, and the ear are in a beautifully vertical line.

Great shot, great B&W conversion, nice depth of field and sharpness is excellent. I like the framing, too. I kind of wish the eye wasn't a black hole but I guess that's more to do with the angle it is on than anything, and that is being fairly nit-picky. Overall an excellent photo.
