Zen, Bumblebuzz, and Itchy (CC Appreciated)

Got out to shoot some critters between classes. Davis has had the worst wind, making finding bugs seriously tough, but luckily it let off a tad today Hope you enjoy them, and by all means, please leave comments/critique!

In particular I'd like to know which of the two Hoverfly images you prefer, I have my thoughts.

As always, all images taken with a Canon nifty-fifty (50mm f/1.8) on 49mm of manual extension tubes.

Thank you! Haha, I do get some funny looks from passersby while I wait and watch. Picking out an insect that doesn't seem to mind the camera is most of the work.

I am in the same boat as you. I can't place it, besides that the image just feels right, balanced

Any other thoughts folks? I'd love to hear more people chime in :mrgreen:
