35 mm 1.8 - Yay!

So I know no one cares, haha, but I just ordered a 35mm 1.8 AF-S lens for my D5100! Technically it was free too since I used an Amex gift card that I won. So excited - Woohoo! Just in time for Christmas! Okay, the end

Nice. You'll like it. I'm giving my Dad my 35mm 1.8G because I never use it and I got him a D5100 for Christmas.

I love mine. I find myself using it more and more and letting my feet do the zooming. Mine is razor sharp at f/2.8 and very usable wide open. Much better than any of my zooms.

Now that I'm FX I'm falling even more in love with my 35 . I liked it on DX too and that one was my 35 of choice at the time. You got a great deal on a very useable lens!
