80x compact flash

would it be worth it to use an 80x compact flash card 1GB with a Nikon D70. I found that Lexar is offering a rebate on their 80x cards and wonder if it would be useful or a waste, would it make any difference in the D70? I don't know much about this stuff.

IMO faster is always better with CF cards

It does make a difference. I've got two Lexar 512MB cards. One is 12X and the other one is 80X

If I use the 12X card at full continuous mode then once the buffer is full it will drop from 3FPS to about 1.5 or even less. but with the 80X card it will keep going at 3FPS for an extra couple of seconds before dropping, and even then it will be slightly faster than the 12X card.

That was using Fine JPG resolution. I've no idea how it affects RAW.
