Just a couple of images.

1st - St Paul's Cathedral, London

2nd - David on the facade at the Sagrada Família, Barcelona.

Great sky on #1! Is it HDR?

The first looks like it was well exposed for the sky but sadly left most of St Paul's underexposed as a result. This given, it cannot be HDR, for this photo just shows everything that HDR tries to circumvent by the bracketed exposures.

The David could do with a few more highlights, too.

Plus both photos are pretty noisy and I wonder why this is so?

Yep - the photo of St Pauls isn't HDR (yet to play around with HDR yet).
