    happy saturday night...

Any good recommendations for a decent wide angle lens, (wider than 24mm), can't have an EF-S mount, the camera is a Canon 5D.
If possible, I'd like to spend less than $500. Just got the 24-70mm L lens and I'm completely broke.

    thanks!

The 17-40 F4 L is one of the best wide angle lenses. You get L quality and the price isn't too high. Might be a bit more than $500, but not too much.

Are you looking for a prime or zoom wideangle? Canon only or willing to go 3rd party?

I'm willing to use a 3rd party as long as it's decent. I've had some luck with sigma...
    thanks
