A model of Jerusalem at Roman times. Israel museum
What a nice and detailed model of Jerusalem at Roman times! Well done, and well captured with the visitor, trying to shield herself from the glaring Israelean summer sun with her umbrella! I like this one. I like how there are only the offwhite colours of the temple model and wall behind the woman, and then blue and gold (nicely complementing each other!) against them.
Thanks for the comment.
The model is quite impressive I think. The golden ornamented building in front of the woman is the second Jewish temple built by king Herrod.
