A visit to the NC Zoo

This is the second time I've been in 5 months, and last time the conditions were a lot nicer (in November surprisingly) but I still got some good shots. I guess it was sort of a trade off, last time I had good weather but shot all Jpg with photoshop 5.0 and this time I shot almost all .raw in CS3.

The flamingo is definitely the best of the lot.

I hope to be heading to Ashboro in the next couple of months as well.

I love the flamingo as well, but I may have liked the lion more if the crop didn't crowd her...perhaps in a horizontal orientation with more grass around her. Very nice overall.

@J.Bat - I rented a Canon 70-200 f2.8L for the weekend and shot all of those with it.
