    its a nice shot, but everyone and their mother takes pictures of trees liek this haha

    nice silloette, but I wonder what it would have looked like from a lower perspective with a wider lens.

    Well, I must say that neither myself nor my mother have ever even SEEN a tree of this kind!

    It's an expression. It's just saying that it's a common shot.

    I'd like to see the entirety of the tree. You seem to have cut off a bit at the top. You might do well with a significantly wider framing, but keeping the tree the main compositional element.

    I didn't realize I cut the tree off, because it was REALLY dark out. I pretty much guessed at my framing.
