I'm in need of a remote controller for my Rebel. I already own one of the cordless remote switches that I'm not very fond of. I'm looking for a controller that pretty much replicates all the functions of the shutter release button. Something not too costly and possibly with cord.
    thanks

For the money I think that this is the best corded remote out there right now.

It is very cheap to add an extension too as compared to Canons. It is back ordered until the 6th of August, but it is a very useful remote. I have the same one for the 30D and love the fact that I now have an extension that I can use for any other type of accessory that has a 1/8" plug that needs to be changed to the 3 prong plug.
