I was just wondering if anyone had an AF35ML, I hear it's an older camera, but does it have good quality? The reason why I ask this is because my aunt gave it to me, and I don't really want to waste film to find out.

A Canon AF35ML?

It's an old point-&-shoot. I don't know how well the autofocus or metering work (both are fully automated), but it has a 40mm f/1.9 lens which should perform reasonably well, so I expect it has potential.

Honestly though, shoot a roll of film. If you like the results then it wasn't a waste. If not then it was only one roll. Don't go only by others' opinions when you have it to try out for yourself; you might be pleasantly surprised by what it can do.

And if you Aunt wants to know if you ever used her gift you will have photos to show her. Who knows, the next gift might be a Rolleiflex that she found at a yard sale. ;)
