Recent gig photographing an aircraft. I got to use my new Tamron 24-70 f/2.7 G2, and 70-200 f/2.8 G2.

I like the first best because you didn't clip the wings. Looks like the lens is going to be a good one.

Testing your Tamron's what?

Figured someone would say that. As Tamron is a proper noun, I didn't think "Tamrons" looked right.

An apostrophe is not used for plural, even with proper names.

Hmm, it would appear that what I believed was a common misconception. It seems that apostrophe's are only used on nouns that are not normally nouns, like do's, and lowercase letters. Learn something new every day.

Always good to learn something new!

Yes, there are a handful of exceptions to avoid confusion, including lowercase letters:
Apostrophes | Punctuation Rules

"However, with single lowercase letters, it is advisable to use apostrophes.

Example: My a's look like u's.

Imagine the confusion if you wrote that sentence without apostrophes. Readers would see as and us, and feel lost."

But otherwise, it's a mistake, such as in the bolded word in the quote above.

Sorry. English teacher. Can't help it.
