Just thought I'd mention the fact that amazon.co.uk has some very cheap Viking memory cards available. I just recieved a 1GB SD card I ordered on Friday. It cost just £12 p&p included. I havn't seen such a good price anywhere in the shops.

Now I havn't actually tried this sd card in a camera. I bought it for my DAB radio so that I could record radio programs but it should work well in a camera as well.

They also have Flash, MMC, etc.

Generic Memory is cheap for a reason - it sucks. I have a friend who lost an entire wedding shoot to a junk PNY SD card - almost all of the pictures were jumbled, unreadable, or had lines through them.
