Holy Angels, at Hoar Cross in Staffordshire is an example of the best in English Victorian church architecture. And it makes a fine subject for the photographer! Here are two of my efforts.

Beautiful pictures.

I see lots of 'textures' in those pics that could be accentuated by desaturating the pics a little bit with some unsharp mask and extra contrast.
 
Thanks for the feedback deanxOr. Both shots were PPd with a contrast mask, converging verticals were corrected, then downsized and sharpened for web viewing. I tend to under-sharpen rather than go too far.

the first one is VERY cool, it just needs a bit more contrast.
 
I really like the 2nd one also. I like how it leads my eye to the next door.
 
Thanks for the positives on these folks. Your comments are appreciated. I shoot a lot of church photographs, but post very few because they're architectural history images. These two (and especially the second) seemed to have a more than academic appeal.
