I got a nice bogen/manfrotto tripod & ballhead for christmas, and i was getting ready to order a few more quick release plates for it from B&H, when i noticed they have an anti-twist plate for about double the price...
does anyone have experience with this? is it worth it?
when i screwed in the first one and switched to portrait for the first time, my camera was too heavy and twisted down. i had to REALLY tighten the screw and was scared i was going to strip out the threads or break the mount... this seems like the solution, and i was just wondering if anybody has used one and if it's worth the extra $$$...
Thanks in advance
