I'm going to Austin this Friday through Sunday for a friend's wedding. Where are the good places to shoot downtown Austin and what are the good restaurants and bars?

you'll definitely want to visit 6th street at night.

The continental club on s. congress is cool.

the capitol building is real cool.

Lake travis is beautiful.

And of coures, the bats make a neat picture....

I'm gonna be in austin in a few weeks to. I can't wait, we're going to SXSW (lotsa bands in every bar every night all for one low price of 350 paid for by the school) It's gonna be awesome. I don't think i'm gonna bring my camera tho, too much to lug around

Also, don't miss out on all the springs, hiking trails, fountains, nature preserves there! I forgot the name of all of them - but I am wishing that I was into photography back then. I could've had some nice pictures. Sigh.
Bars on 6th St! I am vegan so I don't know if you really want to know my suggestions.
