I think I would crop this differently. Do you have a little but larger image I could try a crop with, and would you mind if I did?

For me, the main feature is the water. The trees and the rock on the left are taking up too much room. You only need a little of each for them to do their part. More is just... more.

I prefer the first one of your second set, I guess the larger size makes it seem brighter.
The crop on the second seems to lose something.

I took that very same shot a week ago but I have not scanned it onto my puter yet. I like it. Did you have the hike to the lake?

No that was on the bridge when you do the cedar boardwalk walk/hike thing. Everyone said the lake was closed last weekend :roll:
Next time tho, definately.
