Beksiski has been murdered

i still cant belive it....
one of the most famous polish artists, Zdzisław Beksiński has been stabbed to death this night in his flat, in Warsaw *shock*....there are alot of speculations about his death here, cause there was no robbery...he was a very strange person, a loner, some people say that he could arrange his death himself.....im not sure if i belive it though...but the fact is - that he WAS strange...

Mostly he was known for his strange paintings....im not a big fan of them, but there are TONES of people who are absolutely crazy about this kind of 'fantasy' art ....

not many people know that he was also a great photographer (it was only a 'small part' of his art though) - his collages and especially photographs are great, imo - and thats what im gonna miss... alot!

WOW, that is a wild story!! Murder of an artist IS kind of bizarre.

Wonder if they'll find out who did it??

I heard about it just a few minutes ago... :cry: I'm a huge fan of his work, I remember when his paintings were exhibited in a gallery in my town 3 years ago, it was so amazing to see his paintings just before my eyes... My friends and I were waiting for him, but he didn't came. He used to avoid exhibitions... It was his work, not his person that he wanted to be shown to people.
I just can't believe it.... :cry:
