Best Memory Card

I just ordered a Nikon d5200 and am wondering what type of memory card would be best to go with it... I'm a little bit confused about class and speed. I will be taking a good amount of video, if that impacts things. Thanks for the help!

Any class 10 will do it good.
The higher the speed (measured in MB/s), the better.

I use these in my D5200:
SanDisk 32GB SDHC Extreme Plus Class 10 UHS-1 SDSDXS-032G-A46
SanDisk 16GB SDHC Extreme Class 10 UHS-1 Memory SDSDRX3-016G-A21

Both pretty good.
Get at least 32GB. Get more than one.

SanDisk extreme pro cards seem to be considered great for the newer 24mp cameras for speed

Another vote for SanDisk Extreme memory cards...they are my main CF cards, and have been for 9 years. VERY reliable for me. I shoot mostly onto smaller, 8-gig cards. I get around 339,or more, individual 24-megapixel .NEFs on each card, so I can do a shoot and get right close to 700 images on two memory cards, which is usually plenty of shooting for me. I usually shoot 12-bit, compressed .NEFs, so the file sizes fluctuate a bit, and a two-card shoot for me is usually 694 to 708 images, give or take, on 16 gigabytes of storage.
