Alright, the verdict is in. Thank you everyone for playing along even though as some pointed out, it was kind pointless given the millions of variables.
72% of people ( 14 votes total ) said that the bird was the "L" lens.
The two set ups are as follows. ( I know that I cheated by not telling a lot of variables or info )
Bird: T1i body with a Canon 70-300 USM IS lens with Kenko Pro300 DGX Teleconverter fully extended. Not cropped at all. Full picture out of camera with very minor processing.
Bee: 7D body with a Canon 70-200L f/2.8 IS lens with a12mm Kenko extension tube. Cropped about 1/3-1/2 of the picture off and minor adjustments made besides that. ( I believe this was at roughly 170mm. It wasn't fully extended but almost, I am not at my other comp to look up the exact focal length. )
