    Here are three pics from this weekends 24 hour storm

    Surfs up dude! Weird wind effect.

    The dish that these hang from is heater so produces a constant stream of water even on coldest days. The liquid water combined with cold temperatures and high winds produced this very strange result


    Just thought I would share.

    I love the the "wave" like drift.

    We are getting dumped on now, maybe I'll get out and take some shots.

    Yea, this storm was backwords, we got 27 inches while the cape got 30+, while north of me got way less. Put it back the way it usually is please :)

    That first one is just scary. There's a REASON I moved from Michigan to the sunny south - me no like that white stuff!!!! :shock:

    That third image looks cool, actually - I like that curving icicle! :)

    Thanks, I fell once and got buried but it was light snow so it was more disorientating than dangerous. I spent 26 hours at work, went home, slept for 7 hours then was back at work for 12 hours the next morning. Thank good one of my co-workers brought in a snow blower, we had to move 15 tons of snow. :pale:

    Wow... you guys REALLY got dumped on. My roommates and I were marvelingat the picture on the front page of the NYTimes today... houses inboston completely covered in snow and ice! :confused:
