Big fellows like this are common birds around the canals area here in Amsterdam. This one was resting on the roof of an Audi, parked 500 meters from my front door.

Now those environments DO look "natural" to me!
    What a find.
And there I was, thinking they were rare, shy, skittish birds who you'd never get to see up close!
And how proud I was to see them on the banks of the rivers when we cruised the waters around Berlin in summer ... and you just go out and see him sit on the roof of a car. Just like that! Tsk! ;)

 Well spotted. And you were quick to capture it before it moved away. He looks a bit angry, though. :D
