October 1, 2005 Murphys, California - Grape Stomp

In wine country we have the Grape Stomp instead of Oktoberfest. Giant street party with vendors galore clogging up main street. It is a people watchers dream. I am a people watcher.

This man had his video camera out and was filming people on the street, obviously a fellow people watcher. But as I was trying to get him in focus he moved. And as I beaded in on him again he dodged me again. Obviously not wanting his photo taken he grabbed his tripod and started to leave...autofocus >BEEP!< ......click!

Now, is this too blurry, or does it convey motion enough to enter in a Theme contest for "Motion"?

Guy looks totally mad too...he he.

I think it works very well! I don't think you'd have any problem in a 'motion' challenge.

Agist as this might sound I think he looks too old for it to imply great movement, looks like sharpened motion blur I think. I still like the picture I just don't think it implies movement. It looks like busy life bustling around too me.
