Bored and can't sleep

I wish I turned that creative when I can't sleep! I'd have stunned you all to death after tonight if only I had been this creative! Couldn't sleep AT ALL, not a wink, all through the night...

the blue color was done in PS. i wanted to do some food coloring swirl stuff too, but we didn't have any. but i guess if i really wanted to, i could've gone to the store.

as far as set up:
tripod
hotshoe mounted flash

my settings were 1/250 at f/22-25 w/ flash at 1/12 power
i really wish the line where the counter and baseboard met was more level though

you can use.. soy sauce? ink from a pen? ink from a marker? A lot of choices when you cant sleep and dont really want to go to the store. NO more excuses!! LOL JK.. NJ

i actually thought about using marker ink. but i wanted to capture the cool swirls that you get when you drop food dye in water

If you have ink for fountain pen.. or just cut the tube out of a pen. It iwll yield almost the same effect I think.
