It looks a little strange, only seeing half of his head...

I would crop (or clone) out the edge of the door on the left too.

Yeah I noticed the edge of the door after I uploaded it to flickr :meh: And I was to lazy to go back and fix it and re-upload it lol.

Has the makings of a nice image, I would like to have seen less of his face, and the doorknob in its entirety to offset the left side of the picture and to give a nice graphic comp.

oh wow! I really love this image, a nice peice of art to me. I hope you don't mind, but I re-touched this image, imo it looks better in square format and slight crop (as Josh said ).

You could also do a few more shots similar to this one, like a family or something and place all these images together to create a story or theme, would be awesome

I wouldn't crop out the head...it looks like an ad for apparel now. I would keep half of his face in there..quite abstract. I love the door handle!
