looks like a snapshot to me. the lighting is not sitting well with me either. shes not looking at the camera, or doing anything that interesting. and the blue thing at the bottom is distracting

yeap, snapshot. try and get a softer light source, the direct flash is causing some harsh shadowing. crop that extremely distracting blue blob out of the bottom of the shot.

ok thanks for your comments........i cant crop the blue thing out without changing the shape of the photo (will no longer be 1.5:1)
