A quick attempt at an HDR shot. My window is dirty and I have no way of cleaning the outside. Sorry for the noise too. Thanks!

It's like HDR mania on the forums lately! You have a pretty good view from your place. Your shot has some serious halos going on around the building, and a very flat feel with the color. Are you satisfied with your results? I only ask because I'm not crazy about most HDR photos so I'd like to know what people who like them are going for.

Haha we get those a lot. Just wait for a full moon. Everyone is going to be posting a picture of the same exact moon lol.
As for the picture as stated the halos, even though I've seen worse, and the sky is a bit too dark for an HDR. remember, in an HDR you are trying to get the most Dynamic range. We use HDR's since a camera lens can't see as many stops of light that a human eye can. Therefore we make HDR's. But it's not too bad.

Thx for the input. This was my first real attempt and I could say I'm satisfied. Obviously there is much room for improvement, but that will come with time and experience not only with the software, but the camera too. Thanks again!

I think you did a nice job. I actually like the halo effect, who cares if it's not "textbook". You are well on your way to becoming an HDR guru.

It's a pretty nice HDR. I like the gray tone of it. Makes it feel kinda dark and depressing ;)
